Plum Tree

This is one of the decorative plum trees. There are three in the back yard. Everything we've ever read about them says they're not fruit bearing. Well, nobody ever told the plum trees themselves, as they are indeed fruit bearing. There are a couple of weeks each year where we have to keep throwing squishy little plums off the concrete walkways before we step on them. The trees are also purple, year round. The squishy plums may be a minor problem, but the purple trees work just fine with Donna's favorite color scheme.
