The Front Door Bell

This is the (non-electric) bell on the front of the house. Yes, it looks like one of the San Francisco cable cars. Yes, we've ridden those cable cars, and not always just for tourism purposes. Sometimes, when you need to go some distance on the very hilly California Street, or the equally vertical Powell Street, it's a better option than climbing a lot of hills for a mile or two. As to the bell, we hear the electric one better, but... we have a cable car bell on the front of our house!
